Guests onboard Mardi Gras open the wallets for kids.
Carnival Cruise line has set a goal of raising $30 million for St Judes Children Hospital by 2025. During the inaugural sailing of Carnivals new Mardi Gras last week guests on board we're glad to help and they were able to raise almost $22,000.
Christine Duffy president of Carnival Cruise Line said during the cruise “we are proud to support such a worthy cause and even more proud of our guests for opening their hearts and raising close to 22,000 for Saint Jude in one day”.
The new Mardi Gras was officially named just prior to sailing and in attendance were Carnival President Christine Duffy, Carnival Corporation CEO Arnold Donald and Carnival’s Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neill.
