Australia Breaks Novak's Serve

Updated: Jan 6, 2022

Unvaccinated tennis star ordered out prior to the Australian Open.

CBS Sports.com is reporting the Australian Authorities have cancelled the tennis star's visa due to his unvaccinated status. He will be flown out of the country prior to the Open.

The issue has fired up the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic who is coming to his defense.

The President posted on Instagram, "I've just finished my telephone conversation with Novak Djokovic. I told our Novak that the whole of Serbia is with him and that our bodies are doing everything to see that the harassment of the world's best tennis player is brought to an end immediately. In line with all norms of international law, Serbia will fight for Novak, truth and justice. Novak is strong, as we all know."

Novak's father also weighed in on this issue more serious than a world wide virus. "Novak is currently in a room which no one can enter," Srdjan Djokovic told the B92 internet portal. "In front of the room are two policemen." Srdijan Djokovic added later on Wednesday that he believes his son is being held "captive" and that "if they don't release him in the next half an hour, we will fight them on the street."
