The Grandiosa has led the way back to safe cruising for MSC
CEO announces nine more ships sailing by August.
One Cruise Line CEO is smiling today. MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato has announced that by August 1, MSC will have ten ships sailing again. Presently, MSC has one ship, MSC Grandiosa, which has been safely sailing since last August. Onorato told Cruise Industry News, "We are not doing anything extraordinary.
We are just restarting the business. Every day there is something new going on in terms of ports and governments reopening. The health and safety protocols in place aboard the MSC Grandiosa have laid the foundation to add more ships back in service in the coming months".
The Grandiosa has employed enhanced screening, testing, escorted tours, and reduced capacity since it first began sailing again.
