Dream Cruises finally stops operating amid creditor pressure.

Dream cruises have announced that they will suspend sailing beginning Wednesday, March 2. According to the Singapore Cruise Society, the company cited "challenging circumstances." Challenging circumstances such as the company being broke, having zero credit, and bosses at Genting Hong Kong ran for the hills after winding up the company.

Dream Cruises, Star Cruises, and Crystal cruises are part of Genting Hong Kong, a Malaysian-based company founded by casino mogul and billionaire Lim Kok Thay that is being liquidated after failing to pay its creditors.

What would have been the crown jewel of the cruise line when finished the Global Dream sits in a German shipyard waiting for a buyer.
