Seabourn Venture Will Not Be Ready by April

Supply chain issues among the reasons for the delay.

Seabourn Cruises has announced that the first of their new Expedition ship builds, the Venture, will not be ready by the scheduled launch date of April 10, 2022, but instead will launch on July 15.

The company said, “This decision is based on a few primary factors our team has been monitoring over the past few months. First, the ship’s construction continues to make good progress, but we have encountered some additional global supply chain challenges. By shifting the date of the first voyage to July, we are trying to create a greater degree of comfort for our guests to join us on Seabourn Venture later this year at a time where they will be more willing to travel.”
