Responding to Omicron Royal Caribbean Bans Smoking in Casinos for TWO WEEKS!

The line said they will reevaluate after January 5, 2022

Following the same decision by Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean has decided to ban smoking in their casinos until at least January 5, 2022. In an email to guests the company advised “For cruises departing on or before January 5th, 2022, smoking is not permitted in the casino due to the recently modified policy that now requires face coverings at vaccinated-only venues.” It went on to say, “We will be continually re-evaluating this policy to modify or extend according to the latest public health information.”

Royal Caribbean is still one of the cruise lines that allows unvaccinated guests to cruise despite the increase of cases due to the easily transmitted Omicron virus.
