Norwegian Bliss Will Sail Alaska in August
The company feels they can make it happen by then.
You can add Norwegian Cruise Line to the growing list of companies still hoping to sail in Alaska this summer. This past week, NCL opened bookings on the Norwegian Bliss for cruises beginning in August of this year.
A Norwegian Cruise Line spokesperson told the Alaska News "We remain optimistic that by working with the CDC and local port and government authorities in the destinations we visit that we will be able to resume safe cruising in the U.S. this summer.
As such, we have opened for sale voyages on Norwegian Bliss to be scheduled for August until the end of the season." Norwegian, which plans to sail to the Greek islands and Caribbean this summer, will require all guests and crew be fully vaccinated before boarding through at least Oct. 31. No word yet on whether sister companies Oceania and Regent Seven Sea will join the party.
