Managing Director of Crystal River Cruises Jumps Ship

Walter Littlejohn will take a short break before reentering the cruise arena.

After five and half years, senior Vice President and Managing Director Walter Littlejohn has left his position at Crystal River Cruises. Formerly with AMA Waterways, during his time at Crystal, Littlejohn oversaw the building of four of their five riverboats.

Littlejohn told Seatrade News, “I’m proud of what we created and what we’ve delivered: the very best of Crystal on an exceptional

and highly differentiated river cruise platform. We delivered an experience that time and time again customers, and travel advisors who were able to experience it, shared that it was the best vacation they ever had. The food, service, and accommodations truly excelled.”

He went on to say that Crystal River Cruises had achieved strong occupancy levels year-on-year, including 97% in 2019.
