Fain Tells Travel Partners CDC Cooperation Up 100%
He expects permission to operate in the U.S. very soon.
During his weekly address to travel partners, Royal Caribbean group CEO Richard fain remained upbeat about the restart of cruising. Fain said in this video that cooperation with the CDC had improved 100%, and he expected permission to operate to come shortly.
Fain also said cruising would be safe. He said, "A cruise ship can be as safe or safer than your local community ... as a result, the CDC has now clarified and updated their rules to allow us to start sailing from U.S. ports." Fain has said in the past that he wants all of the guests on the ships to be vaccinated.
