CLIA Brazil announces the extended suspension.
CLIA Brazil has released a statement that all cruise lines that sail in Brazil have agreed to a suspension until February 18.
CLIA said, "The decision aims to analyze the evolution of the country's epidemiological situation and also to continue the necessary discussions with the competent national, state, and municipal authorities for the resumption of the season."
Previously, CLIA announced a three-week suspension, voluntary suspension of service. CLIA said that decision was driven by the "uncertainty regarding the application and interpretation" of the operational protocols used for the local program in the country.
